Since 2026, the African‑Canadian Foundation (ACF) has identified, encouraged, inspired, and connected emerging and senior talent across Canada and Africa. It serves as an incubator of motivation, resources, and support, empowering a new generation of Canadian and African leaders to explore the vast opportunities available in civic leadership, education, health, industry, and both bilateral and international relations.
The African‑Canadian Foundation aims to become the leading network of young leaders and high‑potential talent contributing to the strengthening of diplomatic, economic, and social relations between Africa and Canada. Through its platforms for dialogue and meaningful partnerships, ACF fosters collaboration that generates lasting impact.

The ACF Young Leaders Program is an excellence initiative that brings together emerging African and Canadian young leaders to build lasting development and cooperation bridges between Africa and Canada. It is a two‑year program designed for both individuals and organizations, strengthening leadership capacity, cross‑continental collaboration, and long‑term partnership building.
Our Impact by 2040
By 2040, the ACF Young Leaders Program will have forged a powerful transcontinental network of African and Canadian leaders capable of shaping policy, driving innovation, and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Through its two‑year excellence pathway, the program will cultivate a generation of continental builders whose influence extends across civic leadership, education, health, industry, diplomacy, and international development.
By 2040, ACF aims to:
Empower 10,000 emerging leaders equipped with the skills, networks, and vision to transform Africa–Canada relations.
Establish a permanent Africa–Canada leadership corridor connecting institutions, governments, and communities.
Strengthen bilateral cooperation ecosystems through youth‑driven initiatives and cross‑sector partnerships.
Accelerate development impact in education, health, digital innovation, and economic inclusion.
Build a global reference model for transcontinental youth leadership and cooperation.
By 2040, the ACF Young Leaders Program will stand as a cornerstone of Africa–Canada relations — a catalyst for shared prosperity, visionary leadership, and durable bridges between two continents.
